Land at Paro International Airport. Meet your licensed guide and transfer to your hotel. In the evening, visit the historic Rinpung Dzong and stroll through Paro town. Welcome dinner at a local restaurant.
Full day hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery (Taktsang), one of the most sacred and dramatic sites in Bhutan. The hike takes approximately 2 to 3 hours each way at a comfortable pace. Afternoon visit to the National Museum of Bhutan (Ta Dzong).
Drive to Thimphu (approximately 1 hour). Visit the magnificent Buddha Dordenma statue, Tashichho Dzong, the National Memorial Chorten, and local handicrafts markets. Farewell dinner in Thimphu.
Morning at leisure. Optional visit to Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest temples, if time permits. Transfer to Paro Airport for departure.
