Drive to Thimphu. Visit Buddha Dordenma statue, Tashichho Dzong, the National Memorial Chorten, and handicrafts market.
Scenic drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (108 chortens and Himalayan views on clear days). Visit the stunning Punakha Dzong and the Punakha Suspension Bridge.
Morning walk through rice fields to Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple). Afternoon at leisure or optional river-side relaxation. Drive back to Paro.
