Day 1

Arrival in Paro

Arrive at Paro International Airport. Transfer to hotel. Evening visit to Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest temples, built in 659 CE.

Day 2

Tiger's Nest Pilgrimage

Sacred hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery (Taktsang) with guided commentary on its spiritual significance. Time for quiet reflection inside the monastery.

Day 3

Paro to Thimphu

Drive to Thimphu. Morning: guided meditation at the National Memorial Chorten. Visit Tashichho Dzong and the National Library.

Day 4

Thimphu to Punakha

Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass. Visit Punakha Dzong, the seat of Bhutan's chief abbot. Prayer wheel walk along the fortress walls.

Day 5

Punakha to Bumthang

Scenic drive to Bumthang via Trongsa (approx 5 to 6 hours). Visit Trongsa Dzong en route. Arrive Bumthang.

Day 6

Bumthang Sacred Sites

Full day in Bumthang: visit Jambay Lhakhang, Kurje Lhakhang, and Tamshing Monastery. Optional private monk audience. Evening reflection time.

Day 7

Return Journey

Begin the return journey toward Paro. Scenic stops at viewpoints. Overnight in Trongsa or Punakha.

Day 8

Departure

Continue to Paro. Transfer to Paro Airport for departure.
